Orange Coconut Easter Cake
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 1 cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Orange zest 3 teaspoons
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Desiccated coconut 5 oz
- Orange juice concentrate 2 tablespoons
- Pastry decorations to taste
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the sugar, softened butter, and zest. Beat with a mixer for 4 minutes until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well.
Step 3
Add the flour and coconut, then the orange juice. Mix well.
Step 4
Pour the batter into a greased and parchment-lined round (22 cm) cake pan and bake for 50 minutes until done.
Step 5
Cool, dust with powdered sugar, and decorate with toppings and small chocolate eggs.
