  • Chopped almonds ½ cup
  • Puff Pastry 15 oz
  • Goat cheese ¼ cup
  • Maple syrup 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
  • Green Apples 2 pieces
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the apples and remove the cores, then chop them finely. Transfer to a bowl and add the nuts, crumbled cheese, thyme, maple syrup, and lemon juice. Mix well, cover, and set aside while preparing the dough.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 3

Roll out the dough into a circle about 35 cm in diameter (you don't need to worry about making the edges perfectly even) and transfer it to a baking sheet.

Step 4

Place the filling in the center of the dough and spread it out, leaving about 5 cm of edges. Fold the clean edges over the filling so that the apples are visible in the center.

Step 5

Bake for about 45–60 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.

Step 6

Cool for 10 minutes and cut into segments.
