Ingredients
- White bread 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Onion 3 pieces
- Campbell's Beef Broth 0 qt
- Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
- Dry White Wine 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the crusts off the bread and dice the flesh into small cubes. Melt 30 g of butter and fry the bread for 5 minutes until golden brown.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion. Melt the remaining butter and sauté the onion for 3 minutes. Then add the bread cubes and sauté everything together for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Bring the broth to a boil, add the bread and onion mixture, stir, and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the cheese, wine, season with salt and pepper, and cook while stirring for another 5 minutes. Before serving, add parsley to each bowl of soup.
