Onion Pie with Lightly Salted Salmon
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Sugar ⅓ teaspoon
- Onion 6 pieces
- Olives stuffed with lemon 10 pieces
- Lightly Salted Red Fish 5 oz
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Egg white 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix flour, water, salt, sugar, yeast, and 2 tablespoons of oil to form a smooth dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Slice the onions into rings and sauté in oil until translucent.
Step 3
Cut the salmon into thin strips.
Step 4
Remove the dough, knead it, roll it out, and place it in a baking dish. Then add the onions and top with the strips of salmon.
Step 5
Remove the pits from the olives and arrange them on top. Drizzle with oil and place in a preheated oven at 355°F for 20–30 minutes.
Step 6
Five minutes before it's done, brush the surface of the dough with the beaten egg white.
Step 7
Garnish with parsley leaves and serve hot or cold.
