Ingredients
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Sugar 15 oz
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Large eggs 2 pieces
- Cocoa Powder 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Candied fruits 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with the cocoa powder.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the cream, olive oil, confectioners' sugar, eggs, and milk. Then add the flour and cocoa mixture along with the baking powder.
Step 3
Add the ginger to the resulting batter.
Step 4
Grease a 25 cm baking pan with olive oil. Lightly sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 5 minutes at 355°F, then reduce the temperature to 300°F and bake for another 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.
