Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour vinegar into the milk and let it sit until it curdles (5–10 minutes) — it should resemble buttermilk.
Step 2
Mix oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil and sugar. Add the milk with apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, flaxseeds, and vanilla extract.
Step 3
Combine the contents of the two bowls and mix thoroughly. Add chocolate and cranberries.
