Ingredients

  • Brown Sugar 1 glass
  • Oat flakes 2½ glasses
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the quick-cooking oats with sugar and baking powder.

Step 2

Melt 125 g of butter in a double boiler, then pour it into the mixture of oats and sugar and mix thoroughly. Once the mixture is smooth, add an egg and vanilla, and mix again.

Step 3

On a generously buttered baking sheet, spoon the oatmeal mixture, leaving a 3 cm space between each portion. Press each scoop down gently with the rounded side of the spoon.

Step 4

Bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 375°F for about 8 minutes. Once you take the cookies out of the oven, let them sit on the baking sheet for 1-2 minutes, then transfer them to a plate using a metal spatula. If the cookies stick to the baking sheet, return them to the oven for 1 minute. Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving.
