Oatmeal biscuits with mascarpone and grapes
Ingredients
- Oat flakes 2 cups
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 2 cups
- Butter 10 oz
- Brown Sugar 0.3 cups
- Baking Powder 1¾ teaspoons
- Salt 1½ teaspoons
- Milk ½ cup
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande to taste
- Red Grape Juice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grind the oat flakes in a food processor and transfer to a bowl. In another bowl, mix the diced butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well with your hands. Add the milk and knead until a uniform dough forms. Then fold in the ground oat flakes.
Step 2
Divide the dough in half, shape into rectangles measuring 13x8 cm, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 4
Cut one rectangle horizontally in half, then into small strips. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and make more biscuits from the remaining dough.
Step 5
Serve spread with mascarpone and garnished with grapes.
