Oat and Cranberry Bars
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 5 oz
- Oats 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Clarified Butter 5 oz
- Corn Syrup 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Vanilla 1 tablespoon
- Almond Flakes 3 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 20 cm baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the flour with baking powder, oats, sugar, and cranberries. Make a well in the center and add the butter, corn syrup, egg, and vanilla. Mix well until the mixture is homogeneous.
Step 3
Spread the mixture in the baking dish and evenly distribute it. Sprinkle with almonds and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4
Cool in the dish for 10 minutes, then make 6 cuts in one direction and 2 in the other to create 12 bars. Dust the bars with powdered sugar.
