Description

Nut tartlet with apple

Ingredients

  • Ground Almonds 0 oz
  • Hazelnut 5 oz
  • Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 2 spoons
  • Honey 3 spoons
  • Grapeseed Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Green Apples 1 piece
  • Baking Powder ½ spoons
  • Ground Cinnamon ½ spoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 spoons
  • Vanilla Pod 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grind the nuts in a coffee grinder or blender until they reach a flour-like consistency.

Step 2

Add flour, baking powder, oil, and honey to the ground nuts. Knead the dough and press it into the sides of tartlet molds.

Step 3

Peel the apples and remove the cores. Slice them into thin half-rings and arrange them on top of the tartlet dough, creating any pattern you like.

Step 4

Mix the lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, and the pulp of one vanilla bean until the honey dissolves.

Step 5

Drizzle half of the honey sauce over the apples on the tartlets.

Step 6

Bake in an oven preheated to 355°F for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Before serving, garnish the tartlets with the remaining honey sauce and fresh cranberries.
