Nut Tart with Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Whole egg 2 pieces
  • Honey 3 tablespoons
  • White Beans ⅓ piece
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Orange zest 1 piece
  • Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the dough, sift the flour and chop it with 100 g of cold butter, then add 40 g of sugar. Next, beat 2 egg yolks together with the seeds from ⅓ of the vanilla bean and add to the flour and butter mixture. Knead the dough and add 1 tablespoon of honey. Once the mixture is homogeneous, place it in a mold and prick the dough. Put it in the freezer for 20–30 minutes.

Step 2

For the filling, beat the egg with 2 tablespoons of honey, zest, and 50 g of sugar. Melt 100 g of chocolate with 2 tablespoons of butter in a water bath. Sort the walnuts from their shells, setting aside about 20 beautiful walnut halves (for decoration), and chop the remaining approximately 120 g into fine crumbs in a blender. Add the chopped nuts to the mixture and stir. The mixture should be thick. Pour it into the mold with the dough, smooth it out carefully, place the walnut halves on top, and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Once ready, leave the tart in the oven for about 7 minutes, then take it out and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
