Ingredients
- Egg white 0 oz
- Hazelnut 5 oz
- Pistachios ⅓ cup
- Peeled chestnuts 0 oz
- Walnuts ⅓ g
- Orange zest to taste
- Frangelico Liqueur 2 teaspoons
- Citrus Zest Mix to taste
- Cocoa Powder 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 1 cup
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 340°F.
Step 2
Toast the nuts until golden and let them cool.
Step 3
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Step 4
Mix the nuts with sugar and blend in a food processor.
Step 5
Fold all the ingredients into the beaten egg whites (gently mix from top to bottom to avoid losing too much volume).
Step 6
Transfer to a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Cook the mixture for 20–25 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Step 7
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto it in the shape you want for the cookies. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
