Norwegian creamy salmon soup
Ingredients
- Water 15 fl oz
- Smoked haddock fillet 15 oz
- Potato 20 oz
- Tomatoes 10 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Herbs to taste
- Leek 5 oz
- Cream 22% 15 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil 3 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and grate the carrot using a fine grater.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and tomatoes, then dice them along with the salmon into small cubes.
Step 3
Pour a little vegetable oil into the bottom of the pot and sauté the onion, carrot, and tomatoes.
Step 4
Then pour water into the pot and bring it to a boil.
Step 5
Add the potatoes, salt, and spices to taste, and cook for about 5–7 minutes.
Step 6
Then add the salmon, slowly pour in the cream, and cook until the potatoes are tender.
Step 7
Garnish the dish with fresh herbs.
