- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Pork Blood 10 oz
- Fish Oil 2 tablespoons
- Egg noodles for wok 5 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Banana Leaves 3 pieces
- Chinese green beans 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil, add the pork (previously cooked and cut into thin pieces), sugar, and fish sauce. Reduce the heat. Add the egg noodles (you can substitute with any other type you prefer) and cook until the noodles are soft.
Step 2
Finely chop the garlic and sauté until crispy, slice the lettuce leaves into thin strips. Add them to the pot with the noodles, along with the green beans, and immediately remove the pot from the heat. Pour into a large soup bowl or dish, garnish with cilantro leaves, and serve with dried chili flakes, sliced shallots, and crushed roasted peanuts arranged in separate bowls away from the soup.
