Noodle Soup with Beef
Ingredients
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Campbell's Beef Broth 0 qt
- Celery salt 1 stalk
- Onion 2 heads
- Dried Chinese mushrooms 0 oz
- Fish Oil 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper 1 teaspoon
- Beef 10 oz
- Rice Noodles 5 oz
- Shallot 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the broth in a deep pot. Add chopped garlic, celery, onion, mushrooms, fish sauce, soy sauce, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Increase the heat again to bring the broth to a boil.
Step 2
Thinly sliced beef should be dipped in a strainer or slotted spoon into the boiling broth for 1 minute, then removed and drained.
Step 3
Reduce the heat, skim off any foam from the surface of the broth, and add the noodles. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chopped shallots and remove the soup from the heat.
Step 4
Serve in a large soup bowl, garnished with coriander leaves. Place sliced shallots, celery, green beans, mint leaves, chili flakes, and strips of meat removed from the broth in separate bowls so they can be added to the soup in varying proportions.
