New Year's cheesecake with Baileys liqueur and chocolate crumble
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Ladyfinger Cookies 10 oz
- Baileys Liqueur 0 fl oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese 20 oz
- Cream (40%) 15 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder to taste
- Grated Chocolate 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a skillet, melt the butter, add the crushed ladyfinger cookies, and mix well until homogeneous.
Step 2
Remove from heat. Line the bottom of a round mold (18 cm) with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly. Flatten it and refrigerate for about 1 hour until set.
Step 3
Meanwhile, in a bowl, lightly beat the cream cheese, then add the liqueur, powdered sugar, 300 ml of heavy cream, and grated chocolate. Gently mix and spread over the crust.
Step 4
Refrigerate for about 2 hours until set.
Step 5
Before serving, whip the remaining heavy cream and decorate the cake. Sprinkle cocoa on top.
