  • Orange juice concentrate 0 fl oz
  • Rum 5 fl oz
  • Bananas 4 pieces
  • Vanilla Ice Cream to taste
  • Ground Cinnamon 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sauce: Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Add the sugar and cinnamon. Cook, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Step 2

Pour the juice and half of the rum into the saucepan. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens into a syrup.

Step 3

Add the bananas. Shake to coat the bananas with the syrup. Add the remaining rum, swirl the pan with your hands, and ignite the rum. Spoon the sauce over the bananas until the flame goes out.

Step 4

Arrange the bananas and ice cream on serving plates. Drizzle the sauce over the ice cream. Serve immediately.
