Napoleon Cake with Nuts
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 glasses
- Water 1½ glasses
- Butter 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Sour Cream 0 lbs
- Sugar 2 glasses
- Vanilla salt to taste
- Nuts 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour, combine it with the butter cut into pieces, and chop it together. Add water and salt, then knead the dough.
Step 2
Shape the dough into 16 pieces and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 3
Roll out thin layers and bake in a preheated oven. Allow to cool.
Step 4
Whip the sour cream with sugar and vanilla until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add half of the chopped nuts. Spread the cream over the cake layers.
Step 5
Crumble two cake layers into fine crumbs, mix with nuts, and coat the cake.
Step 6
Place the cake in the refrigerator for 8 to 10 hours.
