Ingredients
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Whole egg 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 4 tablespoons
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Vanilla salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll out thinly.
Step 2
Bake each layer on the lower rack in convection mode at 480°F.
Step 3
To prepare the cream, thoroughly beat the egg yolks with sugar, gradually adding flour. Carefully pour in the milk and mix well. Cook at 100% power for 5–6 minutes, stirring every minute.
Step 4
Add butter and vanilla to the slightly cooled cream.
Step 5
Cut the baked puff layers in half.
Step 6
Spread custard cream on each layer and stack them together; cover the top of the cake with the remaining cream. Decorate the top with crumbs from the layers.
