Naan Bread
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Yogurt powder 5 oz
- Ground coriander 2 tablespoons
- Ground Cumin 2 tablespoons
- Water 5 fl oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl. Add half of the warm water and the yogurt. Knead into a soft dough. If the dough is too dry, incorporate the remaining water. Add the coriander.
Step 2
Return the dough to the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for one and a half hours until it triples in size.
Step 3
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead a little more.
Step 4
Divide into 4 pieces and roll each into a ball. Then roll each ball into an oval shape measuring 15x25 cm.
Step 5
Place on greased baking sheets, sprinkle with cumin, and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
