Ingredients
- Rice 20 oz
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Onion 2 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Tomatoes 3 pieces
- Morels 10 oz
- Spices to taste
- Parsley 1 bunch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the broth – boil 1 onion and 1 carrot in 1.5 liters of water for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Chop another onion and carrot into small cubes and sauté them in a deep skillet.
Step 3
Add the bell pepper and tomatoes.
Step 4
Add the chopped mushrooms as well.
Step 5
In another skillet, sauté the rice over high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 6
Combine the rice with the vegetables, reduce the heat, pour in the broth, and keep on low heat until the rice absorbs all the liquid.
Step 7
Add salt, pepper, and herbs. Keep on heat for 2 minutes and then turn off.
