Description

I find it easier to mash the potatoes in a pot, but you can also blend them. You can use sausages and hot dogs to your taste, but smoked ones are a must! GOOD LUCK )))

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 7 pieces
  • Chicken Broth 0 qt
  • Onion 1 head
  • Hot dogs 2 pieces
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Dill to taste
  • Green peppercorns to taste
  • Vienna Sausage 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the potatoes, peel them, and cut them into strips.

Step 2

Divide the cut potatoes into two parts.

Step 3

Fry one part in a pan with vegetable oil. Place the other part in a pot, cover with beef broth, and cook over medium heat until ready.

Step 4

Finely chop the onion and sauté in a pan until golden brown.

Step 5

Slice the hot dogs and sausages into rounds and sauté them as well.

Step 6

Add the crushed and finely chopped garlic to the sausages and fry for another minute.

Step 7

Combine the cooked potatoes in the pot with the broth and mash until smooth.

Step 8

Crush the peppercorns with a knife and add them to the pot with the potatoes.

Step 9

Add the onion, sausages, and hot dogs, mix everything, and simmer covered for two minutes.

Step 10

Serve the finished soup in bowls and garnish with dill.

Step 11

Serve rye bread snacks with Norwegian herring alongside the soup.
