Muffins with Candied Fruits and Nuts

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Kefir 5 fl oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 1½ cups
  • Vanillin to taste
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Cocoa Powder to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix sugar with oil.

Step 2

Add eggs. Whisk.

Step 3

Pour in the baking powder, vanillin, and cocoa. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Add kefir, then gradually add the flour. Mix. The dough should be neither too thick nor too runny.

Step 5

Pour into molds, sprinkle with candied fruits and nuts (the filling options can vary, as your imagination allows. I wanted to add shredded coconut on top, but unfortunately, I ran out). I drizzled everything with a thin stream of caramel.
