Ingredients
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt a pinch
- Safflower Oil 6 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Clarified Butter 0 oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the dough, beat the egg into warm milk, add sugar, salt, and whisk thoroughly. Add oil and yeast. Mix well. Finally, add the flour in portions. Knead a soft dough.
Step 2
Divide the dough into pieces the size of small tangerines. Roll each piece into a rectangle, brush with oil, sprinkle with sugar, and roll into a small log. Join the ends together, make a partial cut, and twist. This will create a bun.
Step 3
Place the buns on a baking sheet, set in a warm place to rise. Bake at 390°F for 20–25 minutes.
