Ingredients
- Butter 0 oz
- Cookie 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 20 oz
- Sugar ¼ cup
- Cream 1½ cups
- Fresh Mint 1 bunch
- Gelatin 2 teaspoons
- Water 2 tablespoons
- Bitter to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter. You can also melt the chocolate; it works well with just finely chopped chocolate. Crush the cookies. The amount of these three ingredients varies depending on the size of your pan and whether you will make edges.
Step 2
Mix the prepared butter, cookies, and chocolate and press them firmly into the bottom of the pan.
Step 3
Blend the mint in a blender. You can add the cottage cheese and cream to simplify the process a bit.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix the mint, cottage cheese, sugar, and cream. If desired, you can strain the entire mixture through a sieve.
Step 5
Soak the gelatin in water and after it swells, heat it until dissolved.
Step 6
Combine the cottage cheese mixture with the gelatin and pour it over the prepared crust in the pan. Decorate if desired.
Step 7
Place in the refrigerator until set. It’s best to leave it overnight.
