You can mix fresh plums and plum jam — it turns out delicious and very sweet!
Ingredients
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Sugar 1½ cups
- Butter 5 oz
- Plums 8 pieces
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Milk 1 cup
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the dough: mix 100 grams of butter with 0.5 cups of sugar. Pour in pre-warmed milk (1/3 cup). Add the egg, flour, and baking powder. The dough should be quite liquid.
Step 2
For the syrup: heat 1 cup of sugar and the juice of half a lemon in a pan. When the mixture starts to take on a yellow hue, add 80 grams of butter.
Step 3
Pour the syrup into a mold, place the pre-peeled plums in it. Pour the dough on top.
Step 4
Bake for 35 minutes at a temperature of 320°F.
