
Milk Soup with Turnip, Cabbage, and Potatoes

Description
The simplest soup that can be made when it seems like there's nothing in the house. As long as you have a turnip on hand.
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 3 pieces
- White Cabbage 5 oz
- Turnips 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Milk 25 fl oz
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the turnip and carrot on a coarse grater, place them in a glass pot, add the butter, and lightly sauté for 3–4 minutes.
Step 2
Add the diced potatoes and chopped white cabbage. Pour in the boiling milk, add salt, cover with a lid, and cook for 5–6 minutes. Stir and cook until done for another 5–6 minutes.
