Milk soup can be made with flour dumplings as well as semolina dumplings.
Ingredients
- Milk 0 qt
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 4 tablespoons
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boiled mashed potatoes (about 1/2 cup), raw egg yolks, and flour are mixed together, salted, then whipped egg whites are added and mixed again.
Step 2
Take the resulting puree with a tablespoon, smooth the edges, then use a teaspoon dipped in hot water to separate the dumplings and drop them into hot milk.
Step 3
Dumplings should be cooked at the lowest simmer, uncovered, for 10-12 minutes, after which the soup is salted and butter is added.
