Ingredients
- Salt 0.1 teaspoons
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Cream of tartar 0.1 teaspoons
- Sugar ½ cup
- Mint Caramel 3 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°F. Crush the caramel.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Gradually add the sugar and continue beating for about 7 minutes.
Step 4
Transfer the egg whites to a piping bag or spoon them onto a baking sheet lined with foil in small mounds.
Step 5
Sprinkle with caramel on top and bake in the oven for 1 to 1.5 hours. Then turn off the oven and leave them to cool in the oven for another hour.
