- Water 5 fl oz
- Chopped almonds 0 oz

Prepare all the ingredients.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Step 3
Pour sugar into a saucepan and add water.
Step 4
Heat the syrup until it reaches 230°F.
Step 5
In a large bowl, start beating the egg whites. Whip them until frothy.

Continue to simmer the syrup until it reaches 250°F.
Step 7
Gradually pour the hot syrup into the egg whites in a thin stream, without stopping the mixer.
Step 8
The finished meringue should be glossy and hold its shape.
Step 9
Spread the meringue over the kulich. If you have extra meringue, you can bake it into meringues.
Step 10
Sprinkle almond flakes over the meringue.
Step 11
Torch the meringue with a kitchen torch.
Step 12
Serve.
