Ingredients

  • Sugar 4 cups
  • Egg white 9 pieces
  • Vodka 0 fl oz
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Butter 20 oz
  • Vanillin a pinch

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Combine the egg whites with 3 cups of sugar and, without whipping, place in the refrigerator for 1 hour, after which whip into a strong foam. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spoon the whipped egg whites onto it in small portions. Place in a warm oven and dry until ready, leaving the door slightly open.

Step 2

Cream the softened butter with the remaining sugar until fluffy and gradually mix in the lightly beaten egg yolks. Finely chop the walnuts and incorporate them into the mixture. Add vanillin and vodka and beat thoroughly.

Step 3

Spread cream on each meringue disc and stack them on a plate. Use the remaining cream to cover the surface of the cake. Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
