Melon Sorbet
Ingredients
- Lemon 1 piece
- Watermelon 30 oz
- Sugar 6 tablespoons
- Water 8 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Dissolve the sugar in 6–8 tablespoons of water while stirring. Boil the syrup for a few minutes over medium heat, then cool.
Step 2
Peel the melon, cut it in half, and remove the seeds. Cut the melon flesh into cubes, puree it in a blender, and mix it with lemon juice.
Step 3
Add the cold sugar syrup to the puree, mix well, and place it in a freezing mold.
Step 4
Put the sorbet in the freezer for 1 hour, then remove, stir well, and return to the freezer.
Step 5
15 minutes before serving, take the sorbet out of the freezer to let it soften slightly (this is to your taste). Scoop the sorbet into dessert bowls and serve.
