Ingredients
- Watermelon 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 0 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Butter to taste
- Salt a pinch
- Vanilla Ice Cream to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Remove seeds and skin from the melon, and cut the flesh into small pieces.
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with salt, regular sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy.
Step 4
Sift the flour and baking powder.
Step 5
Add the flour with the baking powder to the eggs and knead the dough to a thick sour cream consistency.
Step 6
Fold the melon into the dough using a spatula.
Step 7
Grease the baking dish with butter.
Step 8
Pour the dough into the dish and bake in the oven for 30–40 minutes.
Step 9
Let the finished charlotte cool slightly on a rack before serving.
Step 10
Serve the charlotte with a scoop of ice cream.
