Ingredients
- Pork Neck 25 oz
- Pork chop with bone 15 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Celery salt 5 oz
- Allspice berries 8 pieces
- Mild Chili Spice 0 oz
- Ocean salt to taste
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Sauerkraut 30 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces.
Step 2
Place the meat in a baking dish.
Step 3
Put it in the oven preheated to 355°F.
Step 4
After 35 minutes, transfer the roasted meat to a large pot.
Step 5
Add 3.5 liters of water and bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 6
Chop the vegetables coarsely.
Step 7
Transfer the vegetables to the baking dish with the remaining fat from the meat and mix. Roast in the oven at 355°F for 15 minutes.
Step 8
Once the meat boils, skim off the foam, reduce the heat, and add allspice and bay leaves to the soup.
Step 9
After 15 minutes, add the roasted vegetables to the soup. Cook for 30 minutes.
Step 10
Add the sauerkraut. Stir and cook for another 15 minutes.
Step 11
Salt to taste, transfer to a deep bowl, and serve.
