Ingredients
- Vienna Sausage 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Lean Beef 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire Sauce 3 teaspoons
- Cake crumbs 0 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 3 tablespoons
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Chili jam to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the ground beef and sausage meat, finely chopped onion, lightly beaten egg, minced garlic, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cut the pastry into 4 pieces and brush with the lightly beaten egg. Divide the meat mixture into 4 portions, shape into long sausages, and place in the center of each pastry sheet.
Step 4
Roll the pastry into a log and pinch the seam, leaving the ends open. Cut the rolls in half with a knife, place them on the baking sheets seam side down. Brush the tops with egg and make diagonal cuts on top. Bake for 35 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve with chili sauce.
