Meat Pockets
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 4 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Onion 1 head
- Pork Mince 20 oz
- Vinegar essence 5 teaspoons
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the dough. Mix sour cream, eggs, salt, and water. Add flour and knead the dough. The dough should have a consistency similar to dumpling dough.
Step 2
For the filling. Season the minced meat (pork + beef) with salt and pepper, add onion, and a little water. The filling should be liquid.
Step 3
Roll the dough into a sausage and cut it into small circles, each of which should be rolled into a flat cake.
Step 4
Place filling on each flat cake and pinch the edges to form a crest. The size should be palm-sized (excluding fingers), an average between a dumpling and a standard pie.
Step 5
Fry in hot vegetable oil over medium heat on both sides until cooked through. Be careful: if the pie bursts, the oil will splatter!
Step 6
For the sauce. Mix vinegar, mustard, and ground black pepper. Serve the meat pockets with the prepared dressing.
