  • Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Baking Powder 0 oz
  • Onion 1 head
  • Wheat Flour 3½ cups
  • Kefir 1 cup
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Ground meat 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the flour with the baking powder, then add the kefir, margarine (at room temperature), egg white, and vegetable oil. Knead the dough. The dough should not stick to your hands and should be soft. Leave it for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

During this time, prepare the filling. Chop the potato and onion into small cubes, add to the ground meat, and mix, adding salt and spices to taste.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 170–355°F, divide the dough into 2 unequal parts, and grease a baking sheet with oil. Roll out the larger part of the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm, place the filling on it, roll out the second part of the dough and cover the pie. Make a hole in the center. Brush the top of the pie with egg yolk. Bake in the oven for about 25–30 minutes.
