- Meat 20 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Celery salt 1 piece
- Bay leaf 3 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground clove to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse the meat, cover with 3 liters of water, and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam or, if the meat is too fatty, drain the broth and refill with water. Cook for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Step 2
Add the carrot, onion, and celery to the pot. Season the broth with salt, add allspice, bay leaves, and cook for another 40 minutes.
Step 3
Using a slotted spoon, remove the carrot, onion, celery, and meat from the finished broth.
Step 4
For greater clarity, strain the broth through a sieve.
