Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg 3 pieces
  • Kefir 10 fl oz
  • Sour Cream 1 can
  • Margarine 10 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Onion 1 head
  • Ground meat 15 oz
  • Potato 2 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix sour cream, kefir, eggs, salt, and baking powder. Grate the frozen margarine on a fine grater and gradually incorporate it into the dough. Then slowly add the flour to the dough while constantly stirring. The dough should have the consistency of thick sour cream.

Step 2

Slice the potatoes into thin rounds. Finely chop the onion. Season the ground meat with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Divide the dough in half, form each half into a ball, and then roll out into two sheets. Grease a baking pan. Place one of the rolled-out sheets of dough at the bottom of the pan, then layer with potatoes, onions, ground meat, and more potatoes. Cover the pie with the remaining sheet of dough, smooth it out, and seal the edges of the top and bottom sheets. Brush the surface of the pie with egg yolk. Preheat the oven to 390°F and bake the pie for 45–50 minutes until done.
