Description
Milk can be replaced with regular water.
Ingredients
- Matsuni 35 fl oz
- Milk 35 fl oz
- Onion 6 heads
- Butter to taste
- Whole egg 3 pieces
- Cilantro to taste
- Tarragon to taste
- Dill to taste
- Ocean salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in butter in a pot for about five minutes until it becomes translucent.
Step 2
Mix the matsuni with water or milk and shake well to dissolve any lumps.
Step 3
Pour the matsuni into the pot with the onion, add salt, and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and continue to cook for another 5–10 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the soup from the heat, let it cool slightly, and while stirring constantly, gently pour the egg yolks into the soup. Top with herbs. This is a very simple and very healing soup.
