Marshmallow Fondant for Cake Covering
Baking and Desserts • European
Description
If you need to join the fondant, just dampen it slightly with water, and it will stick together immediately. Fondant should not be placed on sour cream, whipped cream, or any liquid or gelatinous toppings. It is best to place fondant on buttercream (a thin layer) or a thin layer of apricot jam.
Ingredients
- Water 2 tablespoons

In a deep bowl, place 200 grams of marshmallows and add 2 tablespoons of water.

Step 5
Remove from the refrigerator, dust the surface with powdered sugar, and roll out to a thickness of 2–3 mm.
