Description

If you need to join the fondant, just dampen it slightly with water, and it will stick together immediately. Fondant should not be placed on sour cream, whipped cream, or any liquid or gelatinous toppings. It is best to place fondant on buttercream (a thin layer) or a thin layer of apricot jam.

Ingredients

  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • Red Food Coloring 0 oz
  • Marshmallow 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a deep bowl, place 200 grams of marshmallows and add 2 tablespoons of water.

Step 2

Cover the bowl with a lid and place it in the microwave for 30–40 seconds at 800 watts.

Step 3

Add the food coloring. Sift in the powdered sugar while stirring with a spoon. When it becomes difficult to stir with a spoon, mix it with your hands. The consistency should be like playdough and should not stick to your hands.

Step 4

Roll into balls and wrap in plastic wrap. Leave in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from the refrigerator, dust the surface with powdered sugar, and roll out to a thickness of 2–3 mm.
