
Marinated Honey Mushrooms

Description
A classic of Russian feasts, perfect as an appetizer with strong drinks. Unlike many other pickled items, it is quite quick to prepare — the mushrooms only need to sit in the refrigerator for a day.
Ingredients
- Salted honey mushrooms 0 lbs
- Vinegar essence 1 tablespoon
- Salt 2 spoons
- Bay leaf 3 pieces
- Sugar 2 spoons
- Green peppercorns 4 pieces
- Garlic 1 clove
- Clove 4 pieces
- Allspice berries 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Add the rinsed honey mushrooms to boiling water.
Step 3
Cook over medium heat for 12-15 minutes.
Step 4
Drain the water, wash the pot, place the cooked mushrooms in it, and add one liter of water.
Step 5
Bring to a boil, add vinegar and all the spices, and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the prepared honey mushrooms from the marinade.
Step 7
Transfer the oyster mushrooms to a jar.
Step 8
Pour the marinade in which they were cooked over them and let it cool.
Step 9
Refrigerate for 24 hours.
Step 10
The mushrooms will be ready to eat after a day.
