Ingredients
- Grapefruits 20 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Green peppercorns 5 pieces
- Salt 0 oz
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- 9% Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Ground clove 3 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Thoroughly wash and sterilize half-liter jars using a convenient method.
Step 3
Wash the grapes well under running water.
Step 4
Separate the grapes from the stems. Remove any spoiled grapes.
Step 5
Pour water into a pot and place it on the heat.
Step 6
Place 2 cloves of garlic, 5 black peppercorns, 3 cloves, and 4 grams of cinnamon (approximately 0.5 teaspoons) at the bottom of the prepared jar.
Step 7
Carefully pack the prepared grapes into the jar, pressing down slightly.
Step 8
Gently pour boiling water over the grapes in the jar. Cover the jar with a metal lid, but do not seal it, and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
Step 9
Pour the water from the jar back into the pot. Add an additional 50 ml of water for each half-liter jar. Bring to a boil.
Step 10
Add salt and sugar to the boiling water and boil for another 5 minutes. Before turning off the heat, pour vinegar into the marinade.
Step 11
Carefully pour the hot marinade into the jar. Seal the jar with a lid or cap it. Turn it upside down to ensure the lid is sealed properly.
Step 12
Wrap the jar with a blanket or towel.
Step 13
Leave it wrapped until completely cool. Store the finished marinated grapes in a cool place.
