- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- 9% Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Ground clove 3 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Thoroughly wash and sterilize 0.5-liter jars using a convenient method.
Step 3
Fill a pot with approximately 0.25 liters of water for each 0.5-liter jar and place it on the heat.
Step 4
Wash the grapes well under running water.
Step 5
Separate the grapes from the stems. Remove any spoiled grapes.
Step 6
Wash the garlic and basil well under running water and dry them. Place 2 cloves of garlic, fresh basil leaves to taste, 5 black peppercorns, and 3 cloves at the bottom of the prepared jar.
Step 7
Carefully pack the prepared grapes into the jar, pressing down slightly.
Step 8
Gently pour boiling water over the grapes in the jar.
Step 9
Cover the jar with a metal lid, but do not seal it, and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
Step 10
Pour the water from the jar back into the pot. Add an additional 50 ml of water for each 0.5-liter jar. Bring to a boil.
Step 11
Add salt and sugar to the boiling water and boil for another 5 minutes. Before turning off the heat, pour vinegar into the marinade.
Step 12
Carefully pour the hot marinade into the jar. Seal the jar with a lid or cap. Turn it upside down to ensure the lid is sealed properly.
Step 13
Wrap the jar with a blanket or towel.
Step 14
Leave it until completely cool. Store the finished marinated grapes in a cool place.
