Marble Vanilla Cake
Ingredients
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 10 oz
- Self-rising flour 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Grease a loaf pan with butter and line it with parchment paper.
Step 2
Cream the butter with vanilla and sugar until smooth. Gradually add the eggs one at a time, beating well. Sift the flour and mix it in small portions with the butter mixture. Add 185 ml of milk and mix well. Divide the batter in half.
Step 3
Mix the cocoa powder with 1.5 tablespoons of warm milk and add it to half of the batter. Mix well. Spoon the two-colored batter into the pan without mixing. Use a metal stick to gently swirl the mixture 4 times to create a marble effect. Bake for 50-60 minutes until done. Let it sit in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a plate.
