Marble Cottage Cheese Dessert
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 20 oz
- 15% Sour Cream 20 oz
- Sugar 1 cup
- Cocoa Powder 3 tablespoons
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Instant coffee 2 teaspoons
- Gelatin 0 oz
- Vanillin to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the gelatin in cold boiled water according to the instructions on the package.
Step 2
Mix the cottage cheese with sour cream and sugar. Blend thoroughly with a blender.
Step 3
Warm the milk (it should be warm) and add the swollen gelatin, then heat it over low heat until completely dissolved (do not boil!).
Step 4
Add the milk and gelatin mixture to the cottage cheese mixture and stir.
Step 5
Divide the mixture into 3 parts. Add cocoa to one part, coffee (diluted with a little water) to another, and vanillin to the third.
Step 6
Line a salad bowl or mold with plastic wrap. Alternate layering the mixtures in the center of the mold with 2-3 tablespoons each (like a 'Zebra' cake).
Step 7
Place the dessert in the refrigerator to set for about 5 hours. Once set, invert the dessert onto a plate and remove the wrap.
