Marble Cake with Lemon Zest
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1½ teaspoons
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 tablespoon
- Vanillin to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter and whip it with the sugar. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Combine everything. Add the milk and flour to this mixture and mix thoroughly (or beat with a mixer if you prefer).
Step 2
Divide the batter into two parts. To the first part, add the melted chocolate, and to the second part, add the lemon zest.
Step 3
Spoon the batter into the mold alternately, layering each. After placing the batter, you can create beautiful patterns on the surface of the cake with a knife.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 340°F for about 1 hour.
