Mango Sorbet
Ingredients
- Water 5 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Mango 2 pieces
- Lemon 1 piece
- Egg white 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the syrup by bringing the water and sugar to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Boil for a few minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 2
Blend the mango in a blender and strain the puree through a sieve.
Step 3
Mix the puree with the syrup. Add lemon juice.
Step 4
Add the egg whites to the mango mixture, stir, and transfer to a container.
Step 5
Freeze the sorbet uncovered. Stir occasionally to break up ice crystals.
