Description
You can check the doneness with a toothpick: gently poke the cake and immediately remove the toothpick. If it comes out wet, the batter is not cooked through; if it comes out dry, you can take the cake out of the oven.
Ingredients
- Mandarins 8 pieces
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Sugar 15 oz
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Margarine 10 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly wash the mandarins, pour boiling water over them, and let them sit for 5–10 minutes.
Step 2
Beat the eggs with sugar, add a packet of vanilla sugar, then 1 teaspoon of baking soda, dissolved in vinegar.
Step 3
Chop the soft margarine (1 stick) finely and add it to the egg mixture.
Step 4
Mix everything with a mixer, then add 360 g of flour. Knead the dough with a wooden spoon.
Step 5
Blend the mandarins and mix them with the main dough.
Step 6
Grease the cake pan with butter and lightly sprinkle with flour.
Step 7
Bake for about 1 hour at a temperature of 480°F.
