Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Butter 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Cocoa Powder 0 oz
- Chicken Egg 3 pieces
- Dry Malted Milk Powder 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
- Maltesers candies 15 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 10 oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the sugar, butter (125 g), and milk together. Place over low heat, stirring until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Sift the flour, then add cocoa powder and butter. Rub the ingredients together with your hands until crumbly, then add a lightly beaten egg and mix well. Grease a round baking dish with butter, transfer the dough into it, and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.
Step 3
Make the ganache (glaze): Break the chocolate into pieces, add the cream and butter. Place on low heat and melt the chocolate. Let it cool slightly, then beat with a mixer until smooth. Add sugar, powdered sugar, and dry milk. Mix everything together. Allow to cool.
Step 4
Carefully cut the cake into 3 or 4 layers. Spread cream between the layers and drizzle glaze over each layer. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 5
Next, spread the remaining ganache over the surface of the cake. Decorate the cake with Maltesers.
